Tour of the Gila, subito a segno Leipheimer
Levi Leipheimer ha messo subito il suo sigillo nella prima tappa del Tour of the Gila, la Silver City-Mogollon di 151 km. Con la maglia della Mellow Johnny's, Leipheimer ha attaccato sull’ultima salita, proprio come un anno fa, e ha preceduto al traguardo Tom Danielson (DZ Nuts) e Cesar Grajales (OUCH-Bahati Foundation), con Lance Armstrong ventiduesimo a 1’46” dal suo compagno di squadra.
